Frontpage Settings being ignored

I have my frontpage settings set to display a page titled “Home.” Suddenly it’s no longer doing that but is displaying my latest blog posts. I’ve tried the following:

Activated another page to display as the home page. It still ignored the frontpage setting setting and displayed blog posts.

Went to Settings > Reading and selected static page and set it to “Home” Still didn’t work.

The page was displaying fine as of last week. I’m kind of desperate as client wants the site launched next week.

Help is greatly appreciated.
