    Hi,

    My frontpage (howdoidate.com) is taking 1.5 seconds to load. It is 2mb size.

    My competitors frontpage (datingadvice.com) is taking 909ms to load. It is 954.3kb size.

    Any idea on how I can reduce my frontpage size from 2mb to around 1 mb without making major changes to the layout?

    Hi derek62!

    You can try shrinking your images using one of the various image compression tools out there, looking into minification of scripts and removal of any non-essential plugins.
