    Hi
I just started a new site, installed enfold and imported a demo to adapt.

All was going fine, then I got an error message when updating the frontpage (at the time I was changing an image on fullpage layer slider)

Now I can’t edit my frontpage at all

I’ve put login details and also the email error message in the privacy box below.

(Note – I’ve tried the recovery mode as it suggests in the email, but not sure what to do with it…)

    Thank you!

    Victoria

    Hey Victoria,

Thanks for the login details. I’m not sure if it’s the problem, but could you try to downgrade the PHP version to 7.1 or 7.2 to see if that makes any difference please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    How do I do that?!

    Thanks for your reply!

    Hi vjward,

You can do it in your hosting account or write to your hosting provider.

Thanks – I was looking for the option within wordpress.

Okay, I’ve tried it as 7.1 and 7.2 and it hasn’t made a difference.

I have left it at 7.1 for now.

    Next steps?

    Hi V,

    This is fixed.
There’s some missing values in the generated shortcode of the slider.
Do you remember anything you’ve done before the issue appeared? so we can try to reproduce the steps and report it to our devs.

    Best regards,

    Thank you!

I was changing the full width slider. I had just tried to change the caption from being centre unframed on a new slide I had just added (by duplicating the first slide), to being centre framed. I was then updating to see how it looked on the preview, but it just got stuck on updating. When I refreshed as it was doing nothing, I got the error message and revieved that email.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you!

(Can I go back to php 7.3 now?)

    Hi vjward,

    Thanks for the information. :)
Yes, you can switch to php 7.3 now.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
