On the attached page, the forum widgets and breadcrumbs show on that page – until I go into the forum settings and change the forum root to that page name – at which time, the breadcrumbs and forum widgets disappear. I would keep this page as the forum except that when I click any topic, it goes to the root listed in forum settings and so the forum widgets are gone again. If I now go into the forum root and set it to eczema-forums, the forum widgets disappear as well. Any idea?
I tried disabling all my plugins one by one to no avail.

November 15, 2014 at 8:36 pm #351895Reinstalled theme. Some forum widgets show on forum page now but mixed with global site widgets and I still can’t get the breadcrumbs to show up on forum page.
November 16, 2014 at 2:23 am #351944Nobody else has this issue? This seems odd.
I’ve noticed that whatever page I have listed for ‘Forum Root’ in Settings will not respond to most (any?) of the page changes (the exception being when I add bbpress shortcodes to the main content – they do show up). I’ve tried adding breadcrumbs and they won’t show. I’ve tried removing the sidebar altogether and the sidebar still shows. I try changing the sidebar to a different set of widgets and it doesn’t respond.
If I change this ‘Forum Root’, the page will then accurately respond to all changes. No problems with any other pages on the site.
Anyone got any ideas?

YigitNovember 17, 2014 at 6:30 pm #352598Hi Yigit,
I got it to do this same thing when creating a new widget section but as was the same for me, it now combines the global website widgets with this page.. putting them below the widgets designated for this page.
For example.. you added ‘Recent Topics’ and ‘Forum Login’, but the page now shows these 2 at top and then another 3 widgets under it (I’m assuming your screenprint shows this but unfortunately I’m blocked from that site here at work). Also, I still can’t make breadcrumbs appear on this page without enabling for the whole site and if I tell this page not to use widgets it all, it ignores the request.November 19, 2014 at 3:20 am #353449Hi!
Please review your site, widgets no longer repeat in the forum index and threads, here’s how the widget area looks – http://screencast.com/t/EgNGLoG8xuD
Cheers!
