Hello – We have several sites that use the Enfold Child theme, designed by a third party that have now been passed along to us in various stages of update/registration. I’m trying to update them all, make sure they have working tokens for ongoing theme updates, and get them situated on a new host (Flywheel).
For the current site, I just manually installed Enfold after purchasing it again through Envato (the developers didn’t have the original API key) and activated our token, then downloaded the Enfold Child theme and activated that. It’s pulling in most of our content, but just seems to be ignoring the “stretched layout” setting and is trying to fit within a more boxed width, even though I’ve double-checked this setting.
Also, I’m not sure why our header slideshow isn’t working after this manual installation; we’ve actually been having trouble getting that to load reliably anyhow, but assumed it was due to the old theme version on our old host. Is this something you’ve seen before?
Feel free to log in and adjust from your end if you know what to do; we would also appreciate advice on what you do/recommend, so we can do the same on any other sites that might experience this, as we continue to update these various Enfold sites. Let us know if you need any other info.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the login details, it looks like there is a htaccess password prompt before being able to view the site though. Could you include those details in private as well please?
Best regards,

Thanks for that. I see that you are getting some error messages on the page, though I’m not sure why. Could you try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them please?
Best regards,

Sorry for the delay here – just tried disabling all plugins and now I see some elements at full width but not others:
http://hriver.flywheelsites.com/If you’d like, you can feel free to adjust things in WP using the credentials provided – this is not our live site but just a staging version of the “real” one that we haven’t pointed our DNS to yet.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the update, the stretched layout seems to be working, and the slider on the front page is working as well. Could you try to explain the problems you are having a bit further please?
Best regards,

The issue is just that most sections are not full width on the site where we’ve updated the theme:
http://hriver.flywheelsites.com/On the live version, which for some reason is not displaying all content for me at all right now (I should probably expedite fixing/launching this staging version with the updated PHP and theme), everything is full width:
Any idea how to get ALL sections to be “stretched layout”?
Thanks,
ChristianaNovember 5, 2019 at 10:02 am #1153915Hi,
I see this CSS on your live site:
.responsive #top #wrap_all #full-width-section-green-footer-skew .container { width: 100%; max-width: 100%; margin: 0 auto; padding-left: 0; padding-right: 0; float: none; }
Are you sure that the same CSS is added on the staging site? If you want the container of the theme to be 100% width then you can set that under Enfold->General Layout->Dimensions.
Best regards,
Rikard -
