Hi – I’m working on a page that I’ve had for a while and never had issues with. I don’t think I’ve worked on it since your upgrade if that helps. It’s supposed to look like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2nqk5ucrg6hs5hl/Screen%20Shot%202015-09-03%20at%205.54.04%20PM.png?dl=0
but every time I save, update and decide to go back in, it has changed to
https://www.dropbox.com/s/izsoyx91kmyrh9q/Screen%20Shot%202015-09-03%20at%205.53.34%20PM.png?dl=0
It did that quite a few times and this last time, the editor window is empty (in Visual), but is there if I use the text view. Not sure what is happening. Please advise. Oh- the page I’m working on is:
http://www.dominiquehurley.com/energy-painting-commissions/September 3, 2015 at 11:53 pm #498066Follow-up to message above. Now all my editor text box windows on that page are empty in visual and I can only see them in text mode. See private content for access info.
September 4, 2015 at 1:27 pm #498331Another follow-up. The issue above is happening on several pages. Also on http://www.dominiquehurley.com/intuitive-readings/
The format goes from normal to messed-up (as per screen shots above) a few times (saving each time I try to fix it, but it goes back) and then disappears completely from the Visual editor. So if I open to edit, there’s a blank screen.
I’m using Chrome on a Macbook Pro.
September 6, 2015 at 11:24 am #498817Hi,
This was a bug introduced in 3.3 which is the version you are using, it’s fixed in the latest version though so please try to update to 3.3.2. I fixed the first list on the first page you linked.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 6, 2015 at 12:10 pm #498835Thank you. I just got the new update notice this morning. Will do that.
September 6, 2015 at 12:12 pm #498837Question – last time I updated, the message said that it would take care not to delete all the CSS code that you guys have been giving me since I created the site. This time I get the message ” Any modifications made to the Theme Files will be lost when updating. If you did change any files (Custom CSS rules or PHP file modifications for example) make sure to create a theme backup.” I don’t know how to do this. You’ve been giving me so much CSS help since the beginning – I wouldn’t want to lose that. Please advise.

September 7, 2015 at 7:29 am #499057Hi,
Where did you place the CSS? If you have it in a file in a child theme or in Quick CSS it will be safe. Make sure to back the changes you’ve made up in any case.
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 7, 2015 at 11:54 am #499176Yes, it was Quick CSS and all seems well. The only change I see is one I get every time I make any changes on this one page. I’ve never mentioned it before. It’s for the contact form at the bottom of http://www.dominiquehurley.com/energy-painting-commissions/ . No matter where on the page I make a change, when I update the page, the “Send Me a Message” email reverts to the default “Send Us Mail”. I constantly have to go back in and change it. Sorry I didn’t mention it before.
September 8, 2015 at 7:19 am #499672Hi,
Could you try to recreate the element to see if that helps? If not you might have to recreate the whole page.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 8, 2015 at 7:31 am #499679Hey!
Did you happen to subscribe the site on a cdn? Another user is having the same issue. This is how they solved it:

IsmaelSeptember 8, 2015 at 1:09 pm #499817Hi and thanks for the tips, but it didn’t work. Yes, I’m on CloudFlare and I followed the instructions. I had already created a Page Rule for my admin page and then turned off the Security … tab as indicated in those 2 other posts. Then I tried and re-created the same error. I change it to “Send Me a Message” and save and update. View page and it’s fine. Then I make any change on the page or simply click update again and it goes back to the “Send us Mail”. I think this was happening before I joined CloudFlare, but not sure. I’ve re-created the form from scratch a few times in the past. I haven’t re-created the page, which I’d rather avoid. I’d prefer to make sure the “Send Me a Message” is the last thing I update on that page each time. Then it sticks. Any other ideas? Thanks.
September 9, 2015 at 9:19 am #500244Hey!
I’m not really sure how the cdn security settings work but did you check the url if its correct:
1. Create a page rule for -> mysite.com/wp-admin/* 2. Turn OFF -> <strong>Security Email Obfuscation, Server Side Excludes and Web Application Firewall</strong>
Also, please try to create a page rule for the mysite.com/wp-content/ directory.
Regards,
IsmaelSeptember 9, 2015 at 7:43 pm #500699Thanks! I recreated the rule and made sure I had an * before and after the url and this time it seems to be sticking. Yay! Problem solved.
