Hello Kriesi
When I update Enfold to ver 4.0.7
I received the following warnings and was wondering what caused them? Does something need fixing?Best Regards

Also I’ve noticed that the website keeps getting stuck on maintenance mode, would this be connected to the same issue?
Thanks

May 25, 2017 at 6:56 pm #799717Hi LordLiverpool,
I did not see the notices and I was able to go to the plugins page, only the updates page is like that.
Which php are you running? Were there any security changes on the server?Best regards,
VictoriaMay 26, 2017 at 2:17 pm #800139Hi Victoria
Thanks very much for replying.
I’m running php56.
Yes I installed the Firewall CSF onto my VPS about 3 weeks ago. Could that prevent updates???
Looks like I’m running 4.0.7 (see sceenshot)
I’m trying to understand why if Enfold updated to 4.0.7 why I got that error message?
—– Part 2 —–
OK so I switched off CSF (to remove it from the equation) and tried to update WooCommerce to the latest version
but I got a file permissions error, which is consistent with my original issue when trying to update Enfold. However if my file permission (chmod) are set according to the recommended WordPress settings
find /path/to/your/wordpress/install/ -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \; find /path/to/your/wordpress/install/ -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
Then I shouldn’t be getting this problem?
Any help or insights are appreciated.
Thanks
May 26, 2017 at 8:17 pm #800349Hi LordLiverpool,
Do you have the actual file name of the files that could not update, in a WooCommerce log or any other log maybe?
Can you verify that those permissions were set and not failed. What if firewall changed those (very unlikely, but you never know :) ).Best regards,
Victoria -
