    Hi there – On this site: http://prajnalivingawake.org/

    I have enabled the footer widgets in the theme options and placed widgets into the widgetized areas, but they are not showing.

    Any idea why not?

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Did you set the number of columns on Footer > Footer Columns? Make sure that you add the widgets on the Footer – Columns widget areas.

    Hi!

    Looks like you added a custom css code to hide the footer widgets. Please remove this css code:

    #footer .widget {
display: none;
}

    I’m not sure why that code would be in the parent stylesheet, but I added this to the end of the child theme style.css:

    #footer .widget {
    display: block;
    }

    I am having the same problem. First footer page menu was showing and I never set that. Then, I created a new footer widget and it will not show. I have 3 footer columns set in theme options.

    Hi!

    If no footer widgets are set, placeholders will shown instead (that’s happening in the third footer widget area).
