    Hi,

    How do I remove the default entries in the footer?

    I’d like it to be blank for the moment.

    Then would like to add some static content like a contact or about me. Presumably this comes from a post.

    Suggestions gratefully received.

    Got the text widget. Can this be styled? Presume best way to do it is in a post editor window and paste the text version with markup.

    Hi ediblecities,

    You got it! You can either use widgets that have the functionality you want (menus, recent posts etc) or regular text widgets with the content you want as you’ve suggested.
