    Hi,
could you please help me understand why the <span class=‘copyright’> doesn’t display on Safari 18.3 (on MacBookPro M1, Sonoma 14.7.3)?
While on other browsers I have tested, Firefox, Chrome, etc… the footer displays correctly

See please screenshot and other info on Private content.

    Best regards,
    Oriano

    Hey Oriano,

It’s displaying fine on my end using Safari 18.1.1, is the problem only present in the version that you are running?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,

    > It’s displaying fine on my end using Safari 18.1.1, is the problem only present in the version that you are running?

Is present only in Safari 18.3 on MacBookPro M1, Sonoma 14.7.3.
I have try Safari 18.3 (18620.2.4.111.8, 18620) on iMac Intel, Ventura 13.7.3, and the socket is displayed correctly.
So the problem seems to be only on Safari 18.3 on MacBookPro M1, Sonoma 14.7.3.
Consider that I have also tried using Enfold (and not the Child theme), but this does not solve the problem.
I have deactivated all cache options and cleaned the browser cache… but even this does not solve the problem :(

    Best regards,
    Oriano

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

We can’t reproduce the issue on Safari 17.0. Could you provide another screenshot focusing on the span.copyright element? Please include the Computed Styles so we can review them. You should also check for any css rules where the visibility or display properties are set to none or hidden.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Sorry Ismael, maybe I did not explain myself well.

The problem occurs on Safari 18.3 installed in a MacBookPro M1 with Sonoma System 14.7.3 and not in Safari 17.0.
Here the screenshot Firefox Version 135.0 (aarch64)
Here the screenshot Chrome Version 18.3 (19620.2.4.111.8, 19620)
Here the screenshot Safari Version 18.3 (19620.2.4.111.8, 19620)

All three browsers are installed on my MacBookPro M1, Sonoma 14.7.3.
    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards,
    Oriano

    Hi!

Yes, we understand the issue, but we don’t have that Safari version on our end, so we checked it on an older version. Did you notice anything when selecting the span.copyright element? Please check its styles while it’s focused or selected in the browser inspector and provide a screenshot of the computed styles if possible.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thank yo for the update.

Is this the screenshot you’re asking for?

Yes, that’s the one. As you may have noticed, the display property is set to “none”. Try adding this css code to override it.

    #socket .copyright {
       display: block !important;
    }

You may need to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the css.

    Let us know the result.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Hi Ismael, thanks for your help.

I entered your CSS in Quick CSS Theme Options, but this does not solve the problem.
    See the screenshot

You may need to toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings after adding the css.

    • All Compressions are deactivated.
    • I have also deactivated the cache plugin.
    • I have also tried using Enfold parent. No luck.

Could you find someone on your staff who can do a test with Safari 18.3 on Mac M1 with Sonoma 14.7.3?

    Best regards,
    Oriano

    Hi,

I did not specify it, but this footer display problem with Safari 18.3 on Mac M1 with Sonoma 14.7.3, I have it on all sites where I am using Enfold (I have several licences).

Please can you at least help me with a temporary solution?

    Best regards,

    Hi,
Maybe I found the cause of the problem that can be useful to find a solution.

Check please link in Private Content, and please tell me if you think there could be a fix in a next Enfold update.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your patience.
Glad to hear that you have found the issue, the content blocker setting in Safari.

Unfortunately this is not something that the theme can change within your browser.

    Best regards,
    Mike
