Footer – Remove Pages list

I am trying to remove or modify the Pages list from my footer socket, but cannot seem to do so. It is not in my widgets, so I can’t remove it there, and when I’ve gone to Appearance/Menus, I can’t change it there as well. If it needs to be there, I would like to remove some of the pages from that list, or to create the list showing parent/child relationships. Can you help? Thanks.
