I have assigned the Footer/Socket to a page I’ve built out and published, however, on the front end of the website all we see is the placeholder footer information.
Can someone please take a look? I have cleared cache, tried incognito windows and still no luck.
Thanks!
May 2, 2018 at 9:23 pm #950296Hey Dave,
If you go to Appearance -> Widgets from there you can edit the content that we have on those widgets.
Would that work?Best regards,
BasilisMay 2, 2018 at 10:07 pm #950333Perhaps I’m not explaining myself well.
See the screen shot here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxh7bw5ht3daj9j/Screenshot%202018-05-02%2013.06.14.png?dl=0I have assigned in the Enfold Theme Options to select a page to display as the footer – and then selected that page.
But I’m not seeing anything in the footer…

May 4, 2018 at 5:28 am #951288Hi,
Thanks for the clarification and screenshots. Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

May 5, 2018 at 2:36 pm #952116I’m having the same problem.
I created a page and set it in the theme footer section (exactly as shreinmedia’s screenshot shows, I even used the same page name). The setting is confirmed in the page menu as a custom footer page, and on the footer layout page dashboard with a red box telling me that page is a custom footer page. But only the default footer widgets are showing on all my pages. Even when “use selected page…” is set in the footer settings of a page or post dashboard, it still won’t show my custom page, only the default widgets.
I’ve included a temporary login in the private content below.
Thanks
KeriMay 8, 2018 at 3:52 am #953032Hi,
The footer.php file has been modified in the child theme folder. Please use the latest version of the file.

IsmaelMay 8, 2018 at 7:25 am #953169Hi Ismael,
Did you make any changes in my installation or keribird’s installation? I’m still seeing the incorrect Footer. Thanks.
May 8, 2018 at 12:55 pm #953345Ismael,
Ah, Thank you! I forgot I had a footer.php from a previous version in the child theme. All working now.
This is a great new feature!
KeriMay 8, 2018 at 2:09 pm #953379Rats. The custom footer page and socket are displaying perfectly on pages that do not have a sidebar. On pages with a sidebar there is an inch gap between the page footer and the socket. The layout of the custom footer is stretched vertically on those pages, too, so there is a bunch of extra space in the columns.

May 9, 2018 at 2:54 pm #953957Hi,
@shreinmedia: Do you have a child theme? Did you modify the footer.php file before? Please make sure that it is the latest version.
@keribird: We applied a unique Section ID to the color section and then use this css code to remove the div below it.
/* Custom Footer */ #custom-footer + div { display: none !important; }
