    I’ve been trying to update the footer after the 4.9 theme update by following other topics but I haven’t been able to fix it, so I need your help. Version 4.9 is ignoring my footer column widgets and replacing them with default content, and I can’t seem to save the footer.php file from the parent to the child.

    I’ve included the logins in private, Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank you for your time and assistance with correcting this.

    Hey eskitaco,

    Thanks for the login details. I tried locating the site in question in the FTP account, but I can’t seem to find it. Could you let us know in which folder it’s located please? If you want to fix this yourself, then please copy footer.php and header.php over from the parent theme, then add your customisations back into those files.
