    Site is up to date with WordPress, theme and plugins. Installed Classic Widgets but that did not seem to help. How do we get footer to reappear?

    Exactly the same problem here! I have a staging site that isn’t updated and the socket footer is working fine, but on the site with the updated version, no footer is visible.

    Hey whtmsting1,

    Thanks for the login details. The footer is showing up as it should when the parent theme is active on your site, could you try coping the content of header.php to your child theme header.php, then add your customisation in again after that, to see if that helps please?

    I did as you asked – updated header.php in child theme and cleared cache but still no footer??

    Can you tell me what files you need and I will provide them. Owner would prefer not to give you ftp access. Sorry. Also login has changed as we now have a dev site so please see below

    Hi whtmsting1,

    Updating the the content of header.php has worked for all other users, so we would have to verify that you have done it correctly. To be able to do that, we would need FTP access. If you can’t give us FTP access, then please try copying header.php from your parent to the theme again, and add back your customisations after that.
