I purchased the enfold theme and I am just having trouble trying to find where I can edit the footer data, I loaded the dummy data and built it off of that but I’ve searched widgets and items to the footer columns but where do you edit the information like the default (interesting links) text.
October 30, 2013 at 2:00 pm #182430Hi sandjob!
You can change footer settings in Enfold theme options > Footer http://i.imgur.com/A7dI22k.jpg and add/remove widgets in Appearance > Widgets, you will see Footer columns on the right side

@timkk Same goes for Propulsion theme. You can choose how many columns to display in Propulsion theme options under Footer tab http://i.imgur.com/TbyJOUC.jpg
And add your widgets inside Footer column widget areas in Appearance > Menus http://i.imgur.com/0qeZZzk.jpg
To create a temporary admin login, you should go to Users > Add New and add a new user with Administrator role. Please make sure to check ” Set as private reply (Only you and moderators will see the content of this post)” above Submit button to make your post privateBest regards,

We can’t really be more clear when you want to just edit the footer. The footer.php has the output for the widgets and then the socket container.
With Propulsion there is no other option for footer customization so editing the footer.php directly or if you are using a child theme is your only choice.
If you have any other questions please make a new topic in the Propulsion forums so we don’t anyone confused on which theme we are giving instruction for. With the Enfold theme there is additional customization to the footer beyond what Propulsion has.
