    Hi,

Thanks for that, you are getting a 500 internal server error. Why that is I can’t say since it’s a very general error. I can see that you have access to the backend though, could you try to change your front page into some other page to see if that is what is causing the problems?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard
I change the front page to http://test.lpdemo.com/about/
Which is Our Resort page. We still get the same white page.

    Any ideas

    Kind regards
    Dave

    Hi,
Perhaps down grading to 4.07 would be a quick solution? You just need to upload the theme files of the old version via FTP.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi
Were do I get the version 4.07?
That is the theme version you mean?

I have the Riviera Resort website on my local hose with Theme version 3.5.3 and have the issue with mobile view that the Footer columns are next to each other & not below each other.

    I have a copy uploaded at http://test.findnetsolutions.com/
    The details are below
Please someone I need help with this theme.

    Kind regards

    Hi
I tried uploading the older theme version 4.0.7 & made no difference to test.findnetsolutions.com. Then tried to fix that & locked my self out of the wp-admin login. So I have deleted it from the server.

However on the other test site test.lpdemo.com. I uploaded the version 4.0.7 but it still has a white page. I didn’t fiddle any more so I hope someone can help sort out why the theme doesn’t work, after version 3.5.3

Originally on version 3.5.3 the home page footer columns were next to each other rather than below each other on mobile view. Other pages seem OK.

Please can someone use the details in the Private section to help me.

Your help would be greatly appreciated

    Kind Regards
    Dave

    Hi,
I logged in and changed from your child theme to your parent theme, and your site works now, and looks good :)
This makes me think that there’s a error in your child theme header.
    Please review.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Thanks.
But the customer won’t be happy with half a job.

The header logo/menu & section above logo is different & work different when scrolling. Their Booking Form is all out of wack.
Those things need styles & code added to them that was on the Child Theme. styles.css, header.php & functions.php

I thought the idea of having a Child Theme was so when we updated the Theme to a latest version we didn’t loose the special styling & code added to styles.css, header.php & functions.php

I can redo the test sizing, footer & socket content & layout BUT that won’t fix the header, logo, menu section. Let alone the Booking Form.

Thanks anyway however I really need someone who can help me to make it right & find the bit of code or whatever that causes the problem.

On my local host when the website is complete with child theme. I update it to the latest theme version I got either a white screen or this Fatal Error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_header_class() in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/sites/hirum1/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/header.php on line 12

I have uploaded the website as it should look, at http://dev1.findnethosting.com/
Except in mobile view the footer columns are next to each other rather than above & below each other & seems to be only on the Home page.
This was the original problem. However when we update the theme, the page has an error or is a white screen.

    See Private notes

    Please if someone can help!!

    Kind regards
    Dave

    Hi,

On my local host when the website is complete with child theme. I update it to the latest theme version I got either a white screen or this Fatal Error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_header_class() in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/sites/hirum1/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/header.php on line 12

The header.php file is probably included in the child theme. Please update the theme to the latest version then get a fresh copy of the header.php file from the parent theme folder and re-do the modifications. There’s a lot of changes in the latest update. The “avia_header_class” function no longer exist in the header.php file.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
