    I have the footer set to have a background of diamond plate steel with a fall back color of black. I’ve set the main body background to be transparent:
    #main, .html_stretched #wrap_all {
    background-color: transparent !important;
    }
    So that I can use a background slideshow plugin.

    This custom css code is also making my footer transparent as well no matter what I do to change it… how can I have the body be transparent but not affect the footer?

    well why aren’t you using the enfold options dialog for that.
    Even the body background could be set by that without any plugin (for static backgrounds).

    well you want the same background in socket as it is in footer background?

    I really have no idea where you’re even getting anything from my original question about the socket…

    hm perhaps because when i visit your site i can see your background slide show and i can see your footer with your “black diamond plate” background (no transparency) as you described.

    this is what i can see on all my browsers!

    The diamondplate background appears for a brief moment after a hard refresh but then it disappears and becomes transparent again…
