    I recently updated the theme and now the “Kriesi Theme by Enfold” comes back, but it’s not in footer.php

    Can you send me the original footer.php text so I can try again? Now I’m missing part of my header and footer

    Hey Erin!

    I checked your link but I do not see what your talking about. You do not have a footer in your source code it looks like so perhaps you did some customizations and now you want to revert back to the original theme?

    If so then just download a fresh copy of the theme and upload it to your WordPress theme directory after completely deleting your existing copy.

    Hi Elliott, I didn’t explain properly. First, I’ve fixed the missing footer.

    Now, I need to remove “Enfold Theme by Kriesi” and replace it with my own link. The [no link] option does not allow me to customize.

    I don’t see the link to edit in footer.php or anywhere else for that matter. Where can I make this change?

    Hey!

    You can add the “[no link]” tag plus the new content that you want in Footer > Copyright field. It is possible to include html tags. Something like this:

    [no link]<a href="LINK HERE">AWESOME SITE HERE</a>

    Please note, there is no “space” in the [nolink] tag.
