Hi,
I’m new to WP and the life of me I cannot find where to change the appearance of the footer and its contents. It looks all wrong and is not formatted like the theme I previewed before I purchased the template.
Any help is much appreciated.

You can find Footer options in Enfold theme options > Footer tab. You can choose which widgets to display in Appearance > Widgets. You should add needed widgets to Footer column widget areas
