    The editor on posts stopped working properly. Whenever I try to edit after I save, the text only shows up in the preview page of the avia layout builder and so I can’t really edit anything because the editor shows up blank.
    I tried updating the theme and wordpress, but now aside from the editor not working still, the font icons no longer show, my homepage slider that uses fullwidth Easy slider no longer loads and possibly some other text inside colored backgrounds doesn’t show up.
    I had disabled plugins and reloaded some, updated whatever I could, all without success. Not sure what the problems come from.

    Hey helefa,

    Thanks for the login details. Your problem is likely due to a plugin conflict of some sort, could you try to disable all of your plugins to see if it goes back to normal after that? If it does then you can activate them one by to one to see which one is causing the problem.

    Thanks. I deactivated all plugins. The only thing that worked after that was the homepage slider which showed up again. The font icons are still missing (uses entypo-fontello) and the editor still shows blank instead of text in the posts editor from avia. I’ve seen a few threads here with different solutions offered such as adding scripts or changing the htaccess file, but I’ve tried those before I posted here and nothing had worked. Pls advise. Meanwhile, I’m turning my plugins back on.

    not sure what happened but the whole site has been working properly again, before I activated the plugins. So I started putting them back slowly and I see a plugin by ThemeOne shortcodes that causes my slider to break. I did not set up this website, so I don’t know if it’s needed. Does the Enfold theme needs it to work?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, Enfold doesn’t depend on any plugins so you can safely deactivate that. I’m not sure if everything is working as it should or not now though? Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.
