Hi, Enfold Gurus,
I’m tuning my brand-new website trying to make one workable through HTTPS under IE11 – Chrome & Safari works fine, others don’t been tested. Therefore, I have the properly installed SSL, also made all the necessary amendments in Admin. What I was seeing in IE11 is that some Fontello icons selectively doesn’t displaying in Frontend, whilst the code is included with the proper HTTPS- formed URLs for all the fonts I used to work with. Strange…
I put my mind into the this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fontello-in-admin/, and Yes, Kriesi has already implemented the solution he wrote (otherwise neither Chrome nor Safari will not display Fontello 2), therefore as I mentioned all the URLs are HTTPS- ready…
But, Fontello still doesn’t display some characters at IE11 that becomes the issue for me…
Any idea of how to fix this one? What the IE11 has something strange that prevents Fontello to display thei characters?April 22, 2018 at 5:54 pm #945077Hey DimaP,
Without seeing the site, I’m thinking that the Fontello font is loading from http and IE11 is not automatically switching to https, a easy solution is to use the plugin Really Simple SSL to correct the url.Best regards,

thanks for the suggestion. You can check both http:// & https:// versions of the website yourself, better to see at IE11, also please check the code within https:// to ensure the proper URLs are there… Anyway, Fontello isn’t displaying…
Sure, I can consider even the Pro version of Really Simple SSL, but I don’t sure IE11 will display the Fontello properly… ?April 22, 2018 at 7:03 pm #945099Hi,
On https you are getting mixed content:Mixed Content: The page at 'https://your-site.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://your-site.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/pl-logo.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS. (index):1 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://your-site.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure favicon 'http://your-site.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/rm_favicon.png'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
The free version of the plugin works very well.
I’m seeing the icons on the home page and the Fontello social icons in the socket in IE11 & Edge for both http & https
and no errors about it above.
So I’m not sure why you are not seeing it in IE11Best regards,
Mike -
