Hello,
I have updated the theme and since then I’m not able to see symbol icons in icon boxes, layer slides, etc etc.
I only see squares or asian symbols.I’ve searched this topic in the forum and I’ve found another identical problem:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/entypo-fontello-font-not-showing-after-update/Uploading font folder again from a backup has had no effect. I still do not see the correct icons / font.
Hooping you can help giving me detailed instructions to solve the problem.
Many thanks.
Robert

It’s fixed. I added the following to Quick CSS:
@font-face {font-family: 'entypo-fontello'; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; src: url('http://www.maxplastic.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.eot?v=3'); src: url('http://www.maxplastic.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.eot?v=3#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'), url('http://www.maxplastic.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.woff?v=3') format('woff'), url('http://www.maxplastic.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.ttf?v=3') format('truetype'), url('http://www.maxplastic.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.svg?v=3#entypo-fontello') format('svg'); } #top .avia-font-entypo-fontello, body .avia-font-entypo-fontello, html body [data-av_iconfont='entypo-fontello']:before{ font-family: 'entypo-fontello'; }Cheers!
JosueSeptember 30, 2014 at 8:06 am #327062Many thanks Josue,
One question: what’s the reason that making a simple update causes this effect? What can I do the next time I apply uppdates to avoid this problem?
Regards,
Robert
September 30, 2014 at 3:22 pm #327293Hi Robert!
I don’t think this was caused by the update to be honest, it was because your website (maxplastic.com) tried to serve the font icon from vu2012.t1005.grn.es causing a Access-Control-Allow-Origin error, what i did was simply re-do the @fontface inclusion but using the main website URL instead.
Cheers!
JosueOctober 2, 2019 at 3:22 pm #1144176Hello again,
Sorry for reopening this issue. I have updated the theme, wordpress, … and the problem (identical) has reappeared.
I’ve checked the solution you applied the last time and all seems to be correct.Could you please help me?
Thank you,
Robert
October 2, 2019 at 7:03 pm #1144223Hi Robert,
No worries at all. Cause of the issue is still the same. Path in custom CSS is not correct though, that is why it is not working.
Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it?Best regards,

October 7, 2019 at 3:43 am #1145600Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, the first time I loaded your site I saw the missing font icons, but after that the icons were working fine.
Perhaps this was just a hiccup from your server? Please try clearing your browser cache and checking again. If you still have issues then please note that your PHP version is 5.4.45-0 is too old now and needs to be updated to v5.6 minimum, but v7.1 would be better. Please ask your webhost to update for you.
Also, I see that your theme is v4.4.1, and had many issues, so please update your theme to the latest version.
I also see that your WordPress is v4.9.11, please update to the latest version.
Please ensure that you create a full backup first.
Perhaps it would be a better idea to test these updates on a stagging site, or test site just to be on the safe side.Best regards,
Mike -
