Font Lightens & Link in Text Editor Does Not Work

My clients have brought an issue to my attention regarding an annoyance with the text of me site. With the easy slider installed, when in transition into the next slide, the font on the page lightens. Therefore, when you read the content on the page, the text constantly changes from the proper color to a lighter version. This happens only on Safari, but that is where 73% of my traffic comes from. What gives?

Also, one annoyance during the layout builder is that the “Link” option does not work. I had to disable the WYSIWYG option because the content always defaulted to the WYSIWYG option, rather than the last saved option, which for me is text – WYSIWYG messes up the whole layout. I created a support ticket for this in the past but it went unanswered – looks like others have this issue as well.
