Hi – Please see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/text-missing-after-wp-upgrade-to-4-2-3/
Any insight into why this issue happened and how to prevent it in the future is much appreciated as it effectively broke our whole site for 4 days. Details on how our developer ended up fixing it in the private content section. Would love you help understanding:
1. Why this happend after the WordPress 4.2.3 update
2. How we can avoid it in the futureMany thanks. We’ve been using your themes for over 4 years and really love them!
August 2, 2015 at 2:08 am #481728Hi Guys – Any chance we could get some help on this?
August 3, 2015 at 5:49 pm #482323Hey!
pleas refuse from bumping into your own thread, because it will push it behind in our queue and then we can’t provide a faster reply to you.
We would need to see the issue. Can you provide us admin access? so we can take a deeper look into it. Post login details here as private reply.
Please try to deactivate all plugins to see if one is causing this issue. Are we allowed to deactivate your plugins by ourselves temporarily?
Best regards,
AndyAugust 3, 2015 at 6:17 pm #482343Hi Andy – Sorry about that and will do.
Toggling plugins is not necessary at this point as our developer fixed it via the notes I left in the private section of my initial post…and the fix had nothing to do with plugins.
My question is why this issue happened after upgrading to WordPress 4.2.3 and how we can avoid it in the future. I’d imagine you’d be able to determine this given your understanding of the recent WordPress update, the major issue we faced, how our developers fixed the issue, and how Enfold works.
Thanks
August 4, 2015 at 8:32 am #482564Hi!
This css will hide the paragraph content inside the page:
.pf-content p{ display: none;}
Why did you add it in the first place? I’m not sure where you get the “pf-content” class attribute, it’s probably from a third party plugin but the css code is basically for hiding the p tags inside the page or, more specifically for contents inside the pf-content container.
Best regards,
