    Hallo Kriesi,

    meine Website läuft soweit immer noch gut mit flashlight theme unter WP 6.

    Bis jetzt habe ich alle Änderungen hinbekommen. Nun habe ich doch Probleme mit der Gallery bei Post und Portfolio. Der Button “Zur Gallery hinzufügen” reagiert nicht mehr. Ich habe alternativ die Modula app für neue Galleries, dort fehlt dann jedoch das Feature image. Habt ihr eine Idee wie ich den Gallery button wieder in Gang kriege, oder eine Theme Funktion für Feature Image upload aktiviere?

    Ich kann leider kein Flashlight support ticket mehr erwerben und mittelfristig auch nicht auf ein anderes Theme umsteigen.

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    We may need to access the dashboard and check the page editor in order to debug the issue properly. Please provide the login details in the private field.

    Please note that the support for the Flashlight theme has already ended and has been removed from Themeforest, but we will still try to check the issue. We recommend upgrading to Enfold, our latest theme with more options and an advanced layout builder.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. We get this error in the console whenever we try to edit one of the posts or portfolio items.

    Uncaught TypeError: $(...).live is not a function
    at Object.bind_click (avia_media.js:23:24)
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (avia_media.js:312:14)
    at e (jquery.min.js:2:30038)
    at t (jquery.min.js:2:30340)

    The error is related to the avia_media script which controls the upload behavior. Unfortunately, the account above is not an admin so we were not able to check the plugins or edit the files. Please provide an administrator account and make sure that the Appearance > Theme File Editor is active.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    We modified the avia_media.js, avia_media_advanced.js, avia_colorpicker.js and avia_advanced_form_elements.js files and replace all instances of the .live function with .on. These changes fixed the issue with the upload button but we cannot guarantee full functionality. Again, we recommend updating to Enfold or any themes with continuing support.

    Hi,

    Thank you for following up.

    We added this css in the framework/css/conditional_load/avia_gallery_mode.css file but it is not yet working for some reason, might be the cache. Please try to check it on incognito mode.
