Hello,
I try to realize a fixed widgets sidebar, so that the content of the sidebar is not moving upwards when scrolling.
I tried to use the plugin Q2W3 Fixed Widget, but it does not work properly so far. It seems some white space is coming from below and covers the sidebar content when scrolling.
Do you have an tips how I can fix the sidebar?
Thank you for Feedback
BerndMay 18, 2018 at 5:15 pm #958697I also try with plugin WP Sticky Sidebar, but they ask for the class for the sidebar.
I had no success with #sidebar

Thanks for that, please try the class instead:
.sidebarI’m not sure if you should include the dot though, please try it without as well.

I tried with sidebar and .sidebar, no success.
WP Sticky Sidebar Settings asks for 2 things:
– Sidebar element CSS class or id
-Container element class or id. It must be element that contains both sidebar and content. If left blank script will try to guess. Usually it’s #main or #main-contentMay 21, 2018 at 2:10 pm #959774Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. Did you try reaching out to the plugin developers for help? They would likely be able to tell you what the problems is.

I switched back to Q2W3 Fixed Widget Plugin and suddenly it worked!
There is a little problem there, but I will ask support for the plugin later when the site is online
