    Hi Guys,

    Just been running some performance tests on my website and out of all the plugins and themes, there is a function in Enfold (find_tree_item) which is causing a huge bottleneck. Digging into the code it looks like this is for traversing the shortcodes.

    Would it be possible to look into finding a way to optimise this function so that it is less resource intensive?

    Sure we are happy to help! Please let us know more details, what test are you running and what concludes the findings? We also need a link to your site where we can run the same test and reproduce the results to be able to sort this :)

    Hi

    I’m starting to have the same problem as well – have huge bottleneck with a video loading, and the find_tree_item is also causing a problem if you can take a look for me?
