    Hi, we’re using the content element “blog entries” to display posts from certain categories (using the category filter).
    We also use the plugin “Theater for WordPress” to display entries as a cinema program.

    The “blog entries” element shows custom post types though, not (only) blog posts. Is there a way to filter the post types so that the “blog entries” element will show while still filtering by category?

    Both custom post types (events and productions) are usually not supposed to be shown in archive: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hide-event-entries-from-blog-archive/#post-10439605
