    I implemented the Gallery component. How can I point it to another source of images (not in the wp database), and once displayed how can I direct it to display other images (like a filter) from javascript ?

    Hey lcrivell,

    Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?

    The regular gallery does not have data to be filtered on.

    You need to use masonry with posts or portfolio items, they can be sorted.

    Or you can consider using a plugin like Envira or NextGen.

    Seeing the integration challenges, I ended up with developing my own gallery. Was pretty quick actually.
