Hello,
THANKS
for the well designed and reduced-to-the-max theme. It´s a great work. Großes Tennis ;)CHILD THEME
It doesn´t work properly for the first time. Maybe I do a step wrong but I´ve tried it twice. I looked in the documentation and made it like this. Result: Lost the menu and the fonts were green. Solution: Menu-integration manually again and choose the style once again. Bug? I wonder about the functions.php. Why does the functions.php of the childtheme not have a integration like this…add_action( ‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘theme_enqueue_styles’ );
function theme_enqueue_styles() {
wp_enqueue_style( ‘parent-style’, get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’ );
}DEMO CONTENT
I understand that the demo content doesn´t look like the original (live demo envato) because of the copyrights. But it is hard to work with 404 Messages and pages that exist in the live demo and not in our demo content:
– Portfolio big & full screen slider=404
– features site and 3 columns of the megamenu of the pages=missing
It´s a difference between the complete structure (= I want it all to study the theme) and the Content (Pictures). Other themes have a different solution for that: placeholder images and full content include all sliders. Again: Maybe I made something wrong in the install – I can´t elimate this…Thanks for response.
SvenJuly 28, 2015 at 5:07 pm #479810Hey AWZ!
1. When you activate the child theme none of your settings will be set. You can import them from the parent theme though in Dashboard > Enfold > Import/Export.
2. If there are certain pages that are not included in the demo and you want the code for them then send us a link to the exact demo pages and we’ll take a look.
Best regards,
ElliottJuly 28, 2015 at 5:41 pm #479833Hi Elliot,
thank you.
1) I did it your way. After the demo-Import everything works. After the install of the child theme not: the two mistakes. Import parent theme: done
2) The link of your demo is always the same ;)

As I wrote: I would like to have the full demo including the
– pages: portfolio big slider & full screen slider
– page: features
– and the 3 columns of the megamenu pages: slider, blank pages, special pages (in that case our demo has 9 of 22 pages)Thanks Sven
July 29, 2015 at 3:18 pm #480285Hi!
1. I don’t understand. What exactly is the problem?
2. I don’t see a Pages > portfolio big slider. Send us a link to the exact demo page. For the fullscreen slider page are you talking about this one? http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/
The features page is a simple tab element. Just create a new page and drag the tab element to your page content and then set the tabs to display left in the shortcode options.
Best regards,
ElliottJuly 31, 2015 at 10:35 am #481231Hi Elliott,
1) This was only a feedback for your developers. And a question about the code in the function.php of the childtheme according to https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes (look at the 1st thread)
Background: I`ve tried some themes. Sometimes you have to make the childtheme manually. Sometimes you get a full zip and it works. I have noticed that the childtheme-integration of enfold generate two mistakes: green font overall and the missing nav. Even if you do it like you suggest. So my question was: does the function.php in your ready-to-work childthemezip file need the code like I send?2) No, that not. Please look at the enfold livedemo and the democontent you send with the theme. Pages, megamenue and code is reduced = makes no sense for me. Let´s make it easy, when it´s ok for you, please send the fullcode of the following pages to me. I want to have a look on it.

August 3, 2015 at 7:18 am #481912Hi,
Sometimes when importing the setting from the parent the settings won’t take effect immediately but if you go to the section of the theme options and mark for instance a colour value and then click save, it will change.
I’m not sure what you mean about the full code, but we can give you the shortcodes if you like? He’s the shortcode for the first page you linked to, please let us know if you want the rest as well:
You will need to enable debug mode in order to paste the shortcode to a page: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Thanks,

that´s it. This shortcode is what helps. Yes, I would like to have the others too.
Thanks
