Hello,
I’ve tried everything I can think of to solve this issue, but haven’t found a solution. I’m hoping you guys have one.
So right now blog posts that come up if you were to say click the category archive do not display their featured images.
The theme settings for the blog are the blog styling is set to default business and the blog layout is to use the advanced layout editor for the blog page.
The archive pages do not display the featured image or the excerpt from any post that is using the advanced layout builder, even when the featured image is set via WordPress settings on the post.
I tried this link, but could not get any movement on the archive pages: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/archives-not-showing-excerpt-or-featured-image/
I tried this link and had the most movement on the page. The code that was provided had to be edited to be able to save the file. This made all featured images appear but changed the archive page layout to grid instead of how it originally looked, and moved/ lost the post meta. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/bug-elegant-blog-layout-category-pages-show-no-featured-image/
I was able to begin to css the grid layout to stack on top of each other but then hit a block with the images only coming in 495 x 400 and it refused to change the size without completely distorting the image.
Now, with the following link I got really close with the code but not all the way. It seems to be single-big layout for the archive pages. – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/archive-page-with-excerpt-and-featured-image/
Other reference links I reviewed: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/missing-featured-image-when-using-the-advanced-layout-editor/
Can you help? Credentials provided.
