Hi there,
A while ago this worked fine, but I’ve just checked and now my featured images show as thumnails on my blog page, but not once you click into the blog (even though the box isn’t tick to not display). I am using default editor rather than the layout, but still not working.
Any suggestions please?

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Thanks,

Can you please try regenerate your images, with Regenerate Thumbnails plugin?
Cheers!
BasilisOctober 29, 2015 at 3:55 am #526510Hi there,
I’ve done that, and it’s changed nothing. The thumbnails always looked OK. It’s just when you click into the actual blog post to read it that it shows now feature image at the top even though I have that box checked.
Thanks.
October 29, 2015 at 4:43 pm #526951Hey!
You have following code in your custom CSS
.single .blog-meta { display: none !important; }
Please remove it and they should work fine :)

YigitOctober 30, 2015 at 7:13 am #527259Hi there,
When I remove that code it goes back to three columns with the feature image in a left column and not above the text and then the text has to become narrower to fit into the middle column. Someone from Enfold gave me that code a while ago to stop the three columns happening. I have left it removed so that you can see, but will need a solution please that brings the picture back, but to above the writing how it is on my other enfold blogs.
Thanks :)

You need to set the Single Post Style on Enfold > Blog Layout panel. Set it to have a big preview image instead of small.

IsmaelNovember 1, 2015 at 9:57 am #528071Hi,
Thanks for that. It now seems to cut my feature images where it didn’t before – is there a height and width restriction for featured images?
Thanks.
November 1, 2015 at 10:02 am #528072My usual sizes for featured image have been 825 x 554. I just changed one on this blog http://recoveringwholeness.com/showing-kindness-to-your-body/ – I scaled it so that the height went down to 250 (372 x 250), and it still chops off the top…so is there a specific size and ratio that I need? And will I need to keep the width at 825 (width of column), or will it stretch as it seems to have in the above blog from 372 to fit the whole width?
Thanks.
November 3, 2015 at 7:18 am #529021Hi!
You need to adjust the size of the entry_with_sidebar thumbnail. You can do that in the functions.php file or by installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Best regards,
IsmaelNovember 3, 2015 at 10:34 am #529081Hi Ismael,
I’m really confused because on my other Enfold site http://www.beesensual.co.nz/blog the pictures display the actual size that they are (about 300 x 200px). It’s all normal, except the settings with the recoveringwholeness one has exactly the same settings ticked yet it isn’t working properly?
Thanks.
November 4, 2015 at 11:49 am #529894Hey!
Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading them. If you want to control image sizes then please follow Ismael’s instructions.
Cheers!
