When uploading featured images, something in the theme is setting them to the wrong aspect ratio (it’s about half the height it should be, even though the image aspect ratio is comparable to ones working correctly). I was able to switch it to the correct aspect ratio on a couple of posts, but it should be defaulting to that. I don’t believe that it’s the standard issue of adjusting the image size in the theme, as the example posts that I imported have the correct size. For example, you can visit the site and look at the difference between the two posts in the private content. You’re also welcome to create test posts, but please move them to drafts/private after you take a look at the issue.

Could you set the WordPress account to admin rights so that we can have a closer look please?
Thanks,
RikardAugust 25, 2016 at 8:23 am #677397I’ve changed the account to admin.
August 29, 2016 at 1:57 pm #678891Hi,
Try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change theentry_without_sidebar
image size (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.Best regards,
YigitAugust 30, 2016 at 12:37 am #679211That didn’t work- the image sizes were already set to the appropriate maximums, which is why one blog entry in the link below has the right size and the second doesn’t. Please see the links below.
September 1, 2016 at 2:41 pm #680744Hi,
this is the image you’ve uploaded and it gets displayed exactly as you’ve uploaded it. However, WordPress is cropping images by default when uploading them, so use the plugin Yigit mentioned to control this standard feature.
Best regards,
AndySeptember 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm #680873Please take a look at the plugin settings now. I followed the instructions from before, and it did not resolve the issue.
September 5, 2016 at 1:02 pm #682109Hi,
if you’ve got questions about any plugins, then please ask plugin’s author about it. You can change all Enfold image sizes manually this way: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-image-sizes/#post-336176
Best regards,
AndySeptember 5, 2016 at 9:54 pm #682360That plugin was the one you recommended, which is why I was pursuing that approach. Can you please actually go to the pages I linked you to and take a look at the issue? The issue is not that the image sizes in the theme are all incorrect, it’s that uploading new ones is sizing them incorrectly. I was unable to find anything in the current image list in functions.php that was incorrect.
Please take a look at this issue- the standard approaches are not working.
September 6, 2016 at 12:39 pm #682571Hi,
at first please test it with a default WordPress theme and let us know if you get the same result with it or not.
Best regards,
