Tagged: featured image slider, Firefox
Hi,
I have a Featured Image Slider on a page and it’s working under Safari but not under Firefox (43.0.2). Any ideas? Here’s the link: http://www.tameez.com.
Thanks and regards,
Just some additional information.
The slider works under Firefox when I specify Post Tag in the Slider Content tab for post type Posts. However, there still is a problem in that after the second slide, it goes into a loop of some sorts and the dots-in-circle are displayed.
For Portfolio and other contents, the slider does work and there are no spinning dots.
The problem apparently is when post type is Posts and content is Categories.

Hi!
Thank you for the info. We have reported the issue to our development team and it is going to be fixed on the next update.
A quick solution for this would be to edit the config-templatebuilder > aviashortcode > slideshow_feature_image.php then replace everything with this code: http://pastebin.com/W2d6NqSj
Reset the Slideshow Transition > Autorotation options before testing the page.
Best regards,
Vinay
Hi Vinay,
Yes, I did all that but it didn’t solve the problem; the results are the same. I, in fact, recreated another slider from scratch.

Hey!
We found out that the slider issue occurs if one of the posts included in the slider doesn’t have a featured image set. One or two of the posts in your slider do not have featured image, example: “NEVER INTERRUPT YOUR ENEMY WHEN HE IS MAKING A MISTAKE.”. For a temporary fix, please add a featured image for each post. We will raise the issue to Kriesi.
Cheers!
Ismael
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the solution. I think you’re right.
