This is a strange case, but on my site, I have a CPT for Personnel, and on all the pages, the featured image is a square box.
But, on one post, for some reason it resizes to a banner-shape. No idea why. Nothing is different, and original image is a square.
Any ideas?
A good example:
http://fmcic.ca/personnel/kim-henderson-director-of-personnel/
The randomly wrong one:
http://fmcic.ca/personnel/mark-molczanski-director-of-administrative-services/
This baffles me because it should just be the same across this post type’s single page, but on this one it is not. I’ve even tried uploading the image again, and it goes this shape….There are no options for featured image size (i know in other areas I can choose the banner-cropping).
Any ideas??
Hey storyboardsolutions!
Is the “incorrect” one smaller than the size its supposed to be resizing to? If so, then WordPress will just not re-size the element at all.
Eg, if its set to be 450×450 and the image is 450×409 then WordPress will just leave it as is.
Cheers!
