I have designated a featured image in my blogposts and also used the same image at the top of each post. However, when the post is shared to Facebook, the image doesn’t show (a corner of the website logo is grabbed instead). Needless to say, this looks terrible. Is there another preference I’m not aware of? I can’t imagine why Facebook would grab a part of the logo.

Thanks for your help.
Hey macjeffff,
Are you using a SEO plugin? You can install Yoast SEO plugin and set the image to be shared there.
Best regards,
Victoria
I’m using All-in-one-SEO pack Pro. I will look for a similar preference there. Thanks
You were right, Victoria. I needed to install and configure the social graph stuff in All-in-one-SEO pack Pro, to configure the Open Graph protocols. Apparently FB insists on it (I ran their debug routine). So much for artificial intelligence. Seems like I have to tell Google, FB, Twitter, etc. 6 different ways what my featured image is on a post. Crazy.
I appreciate your help. I never would have guessed.
Hi,
