I am building my first Enfold site (I had been in Corona).. and though I’ve scoured the forum I finally decided to ask:
First, Corona uses a “featured image” section in pages and posts that allows me to add an image and then select “no link,” or “link to page” or “link manually” etc… This is awesome…
I noticed in Enfold that I can only 1) add or remove the featured image to a page or 2) add or remove the featured image to a post with the option of “show” or “don’t show” in a single post… I appears that I cannot control the link at all…
Am I missing something?… How can I control the link properties of my featured images in pages and posts like I could in Corona? Is this possible? I hope so. Thanks.

Hey Boe!
Back when Corona was released WordPress didn’t have a native featured image function, that’s why Kriesi created its own for that theme (with all those options).
I don’t think we would implement such feature again in Enfold or newer themes because using native WP functions is way more convenient and reliable.

Forgive me, but I have no idea how to use WP’s native functionality to accomplish what I am trying to do… Would you be so kind, please to tell me please how to control / assign the link properties of my featured images in pages and posts? Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Hey Boe!
What kind of control would like to have? if it’s just about disabling the link for some posts i think that’s doable with some CSS.
But making the WP feature image exactly like the Corona one would require a deep customization to the theme, which unfortunately is out of the support scope we can offer.

Man, I am so sorry. But it seems pretty clear that you are NOT following me at all. Can we just forget about Corona, please?
I am using ENFOLD 2.7.1 and I want to use featured images” in my posts and pages… I know how to do this…
BUT, I want to be able to assign to that featured image a specific link (a URL to a page, or to a video, etc…) Can you please tell me how to do that? Anyone?
