We preview blog articles in Masonry Elements. If new blog posts are added, the image and heading of the blog post were previously displayed in the Masonry. Now only the heading is displayed, the featured image is not. If the masonry is saved again, the featured image is displayed again.
We don’t always want to have to save all Masonry elements from scratch. Why is it that the featured image is not automatically adopted?
Enfold 4.8.7.2 (I only want to update if that solves the problem)
WP latest versionDecember 24, 2021 at 8:28 pm #1333976Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Could you please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps? Featured image should be updated automatically as well.
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 3, 2022 at 9:55 am #1334034… sorry for the late reply.
There is no plugin conflict – all plugins have been deactivated, the error remains. However, the error only occurs with scheduled publications. So only if the cronjob takes over the publication of the article.January 5, 2022 at 12:58 pm #1334352Hi,
Thank you for the update.
It seems to be working correctly on our end. We created a new post and scheduled it. Once published, the featured image immediately displayed in the Masonry element as shown in the screenshot below. (see private field)
Please update the theme to the latest version (4.8.8.1), then post the login details in the private field so that we can check it properly. Did you enable caching?
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 7, 2022 at 5:01 pm #1334698I only want to update enfold if this solves the problem. Is version 4.8.7.2 known for this bug?
We use Enfold’s own caching (css and JS). I have created an admin account – please see private content
January 10, 2022 at 1:57 am #1334919Hi,
Thank you for the info.
Is version 4.8.7.2 known for this bug?
We haven’t encountered this issue before, this is the only one so far. Again, we were not able to reproduce the issue on our installation, which contains the latest version of the theme, so upgrading might help.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 20, 2022 at 4:25 pm #1336384.. Enfold is now up to date (4.8.8.1). after a first test it seems to work now. Please don’t close the topic yet, we want to monitor this for a few days
