    Hi all,

    When a post of my site is published on FB, the featured image is empty.

    After reading some old posts about this problem here, I installed Yoast SEO and specified a featured image but it doesn’t work.

    Exemple of post :

    Land art d’Automne

    Can you help me ?

    Hi,

    Did you try clearing the cache from your caching plugin? If not then please do, you could also try running the URL in question through the Facebook debug tool: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    Hi,

    Yes I did clear the cache.
    It seems to work now. I do not understand.
    Maybe we need to wait a day or two before publicizing on FB…

    Hi,

    Great, glad it’s working. It was most likely due to Facebook caching, I’m not expert on the topic but once you have shared the link Facebook will probably cache the image for a while so they don’t have to fetch it again when the next user shares it.
