Using the Portfolio Item to build a product grid. However, in the admin of WordPress, the Featured Image and Tags areas do not display for the Portfolio Item.
Turned off all plugins. Updated to most current Enfold. Still no way to edit Featured Image or Tags on a Portfolio Item.
Would appreciate some help.

You are registering custom portfolio in your child theme, this can be the reason those boxes are missing.

VictoriaMay 4, 2018 at 3:04 pm #951715I’ve removed any reference to /includes, /admin and register-portfolio.php from the child theme. Tags and Featured Image still missing from portfolio item post type. Any other ideas?

The options are visible when the ACF plugin is enabled. We enabled the plugin back and then excluded the featured image and tags on the “Hide on screen” settings.

IsmaelMay 7, 2018 at 3:15 pm #952706Any idea why this happens? I’m still unable to replicate the solution on my local install. Advanced Custom Fields is activated, but still no Featured Image or Tags available to select in the Screen settings. If I deactivate it, I see that those are available. But when ACF is activated again, they disappear from the admin menu, and not available on the Screen Options.
