    Hey guys,

    A number of our clients over the new year needed to display a banner for closing times, days off etc. Or some sometimes need to mention a promo or special. Of course there are plugins for this, but I just wondered if some simple banner functionality above the top bar (or inserted as an ALB element for more customisation of location) that is dismissible would be a nice feature of the theme itself? This way there are no styling issues from other plugins as it would work nicely with the theme styling and enfold settings.

    Just a suggestion.

    Thanks for the awesome work lately on improving the theme, lots of nice changes coming through!

    Hey Tim,

    I will forward your request to our devs however I would like to mention 2 existing alternatives:
    1- WooCommerce’s Store Notice that can be enabled in Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Store Notice
    2- Notification element which offers cookie options. You could paste its shortcode into “Phone Number or small info text” in Enfold theme options > Header > Extra Elements tab :)

    Thanks for the quick response and for forwarding that on.

    I appreciate your suggestions too, I was aware of the WooCommerce one, but hadn’t thought of using the notification element in the top bar, that could work. Although if you need the top bar PLUS a notification, then that may not work entirely.

    Hey guys,

    Just wanted to check if this one was still in the roadmap? Would be a really useful ALB element addition for many sites.

    Thanks for your work, 5.3 release had a LOT in it!
