    Hi,

    I use a faveicon, but it’s not shown in the frontend:
    1.) I disabled the cace plugin – norhing changed – still black
    2.) I used a gif and a png different sizes – norhing changed – still black
    3.) I converted it to a ico – norhing changed – still black
    4.) I deactivated all plugins – norhing changed – still black

    It is there on the page in html, I do not see it being requested.

    Do you have any modifications is functions.php?

    Can you disable caching and minification for now?

    Hi,

    1.) yes the code can be seen in the HTML-Code, but it wont be displayed as it should.
    2:) No, no modifications in the functions.php
    3.) You have access to the page, you can disable all plugins. But even if I deactivate all plugins, I dont get rid of the problem. You can disable the wp-fastest-cache, if you want.

    Hi Uli,

    I used the link to your ico file on my local installation and it works just fine. Can you please try deleting all other versions gif and png from the media lib? Or this can very well be a plugin conflict, like with the Security plugin or some other.
