    Hi
    I just updated the site below, but the favicon (.png file) is not updating for some reason, after a few weeks live.
    I tried re-adding it as an .ico file but got a warning that that file type was not allowed for security reasons?
    I use .png files on other sites with no problems
    Can you see what the issue is here?

    Hi Nancy,

    If you set a site icon from Themes > Customize > Site Identity it overwrites the Enfold Favicon.

    The WordPress site identity icon is 512pxx512px but if you set it – It is also used as the Favicon.

    Can you check those settings?

    I normally use a PNG 64×64 for the favicon upload via WordPress and then upload a 512×512 version in the site identiy panel.

    Thanks for your help – I changed it thru the WP customizer, which still had the old logo.
