    HI there,
    I set the favicon on the website but somehow it doesn’t show on the tab.
    Can you help letting me know what am I doing wrong?

    I added the website link and credentials in the private content part of this thread.

    It’s showing up fine on my end, please try using a private or incognito browser window.

    Hey @Rikard,
    not sure why, but I don’t see it on any computer of mine. I opened also an incognito window on a different browser (chrome) and it doesn’t show.
    Can you maybe send me a screenshot of yours?

    Have you tried converting the PNG image to an actual ICO file? Please check this tool: https://favicon.io/

    curiously, Enfold tells me “you are not allowed to upload this type file” in the library (.ico) …what can I do?

    Hi,

    I think that WordPress should allow .ico files by default, maybe you renamed a file instead of saving as .ico? This thread might help you out: https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/415084/why-cant-i-upload-ico-files-to-wordpress. Also please note that the media gallery is default WordPress functionality, it’s not theme specific.

    Hi @Rikard,

    curiously the file is an .ico one, I haven’t renamed it. Thank you for posting the article. Didn’t help me solve the issue, but maybe once I move the site from the staging one to the actual one, the favicon will appear?
    We’ll see.
