    Are there any known issues with displaying favicon, I am running version 4.9.2.3.
    I have uploade .ico, .png files and published the sites, but not favicon was displayed. I have posted the link in the privat content.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. The markup seems correct on the front end, so I’m not sure why the icon is not showing up. Does it make any difference if you convert it to .png and try to use that instead?

    Hi Katharina,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    It seems the issue is because your site is actually using HTTPS but the favicon is pointed to HTTP which results in mixed content.
    I just changed HTTP to HTTPS and that seems to fix the issue.
    Please change WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in Settings > General from HTTP to HTTPS.
