    Hi guys!

    First just wanted to say the support you provide at Enfold is amazing. When we need you you’ve always been there with very thoughtful and knowledgeable answers and we really appreciate it :)

    In the private content I have linked two GTMetrix waterfalls. #1 is with a PNG favicon, optimized by ShortPixel and served on their CDN. #2 is with an ICO favicon, no CDN.

    As you can see, in both cases the favicon is the last element loaded and there is a significant wait time before it’s loaded.
    Is there a reason it doesn’t load in parallel with the other images, much earlier in the page load?

    Hey sdigit,

    Unfortunately that is how the browsers decide to load the icon. It is how they are designed, it is not something related to our theme.
