    Hi all,

So after I updated WordPress to 4.9.5 and updating Enfold to 4.2.6, I get this error when trying to open my webpage.

I’ve tried replacing the header.php file with another one I downloaded from Themeforest, but that didn’t do anything.

I don’t know much about php, so I’m already at a loss. I’d appreciate any help given!

    Ricardo

    Hi Ricardo,

Sorry for the inconvenience! Issue occurs on servers running PHP versions older than 5.6. You can either upgrade your PHP version to minimum 5.6 and preferably to 7.x or replace /wp-content/themes/enfold/header.php file with this one – https://www.dropbox.com/s/r389b5x4ippscyn/header.php?dl=0 to bring up backwards compatibility with older PHP versions.

If that does not help, please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hi Yigit!

Thnx for the quick reply. I had never realized my hosting provider didn’t automatically update PHP versions. I updated to 7.1 manually just now and it works perfectly again. Thanks for the solution!

You can close this ticket now:)

    Best,
