I read that there is a problem with 3.6, that we should delete the existing enfold folder and then re upload the new 3.6. I did that and still get this error when logging in:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare av_mailchimp_check() (previously declared in /home/openmi6/public_html/khfenterprisesinc.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/av-helper-mailchimp.php:446) in /home/openmi6/public_html/khfenterprisesinc.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/helper-mailchimp.php on line 449
June 7, 2016 at 10:49 am #643942Hi, exactly the same problem.
ThanksJune 7, 2016 at 1:48 pm #644047Same here! Need to fix that urgently!
June 7, 2016 at 7:54 pm #644311Removing the existing Enfold folder and then uploading the new 3.6 may have in fact worked. I tried to log in on a different computer and it was okay. My guess is I need to clear my cache on my regular computer which I will try later to make sure.

BasilisJune 7, 2016 at 8:50 pm #644350Hi,
Glad it’s working for you. To hard refresh press the Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
@drimendo If you are able to login to the wordpress backend please de-activate and activate the theme and it should work.
If not access the theme folder via FTP and rename the enfold theme folder to enfold2. Login to wordpress backend and install a fresh copy downloaded from themeforest and it should resolve the issue.Best regards,
VinayJune 7, 2016 at 9:07 pm #644358Vinay, I’m watching all these support threads for the same issue on 3.6, which I personally experienced yesterday.
Are there plans for a 3.6.1 version that deletes or overwrites the old files so people don’t have this issue with the upgrade?
Seems like a lot of unnecessary trouble for everyone, support and users alike, with all due respect.June 8, 2016 at 1:45 am #644446I agree, and if I knew there would be a 3.6.1 coming soon, I’ll wait. It just takes more time to delete the current folder and then upload the new one. This kind of run around, and lack of any warning, is not what one expects in a premium theme.

June 8, 2016 at 7:56 am #644592Hi,
OK deleting the enfold folder, and reloading the 3.6 enfold folder.
ThanksJune 8, 2016 at 1:32 pm #644808This is the beauty of forum based support: have an issue, look in the forum, find the answer, fix the problem :-)
Deleting theme folder and re-uploading via FTP cured it.I have several client sites on Enfold so I’ll wait for the update fix before updating all the others.
Cheers
