Hi, I have Enfold theme 4.8.3 loaded and the plugins and core install are the latest versions. I have tried removing the plugins and any extra code in the functions file but that didn’t help. i also reloaded the theme folder twice. Any thoughts?
I can only access the site in recovery and have received an email saying ….
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 41 of the file /services/webpages/s/e/……/public/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/avia_framework.php. June 18, 2021 at 5:54 am #1306281Hi,
Sorry for the problem. So it’s not possible to login to your site, unless in recovery mode? Did you try to rename the plugin and theme folders? That should disable all plugins, and activate one of the default WordPress themes. If you need further help, then please include FTP and WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
RikardJune 18, 2021 at 5:59 am #1306282I did do that and was able to access the site but was not able to figure out why it was happening. I placed the ftp info in the private content area.
June 18, 2021 at 7:29 am #1306294Hi renita01,
Thanks for giving us FTP access.
I have checked the error and the files mentioned and I could see the file in its proper place as well as the code intact (location in enfold > framework > php > inc-autoconfig.php).
I also tried to replace the whole framework folder and it still has the issue.
Can you try to request assistance from your hosting provider to check on this issue?Best regards,
NikkoJune 18, 2021 at 7:46 am #1306297I can check with the host but I just wanted to check with you first to see if you saw any issues with other plugins conflicting with the theme.
June 18, 2021 at 11:28 am #1306322Hi renita01,
Yes, I tried to move all plugins and there’s only the theme and WordPress and it still has the same issue.
Only moving the theme out of the theme’s folder fixes the error.
Also, the error itself should only appear if the file is not found but it’s not the case on your site.Best regards,
NikkoJune 18, 2021 at 3:27 pm #1306375I was just about ready to call the host but the site is loading ok for me now. I am going to keep an eye on it but maybe what you did worked.

Did you need additional help with this topic or shall we close?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonJune 18, 2021 at 3:57 pm #1306390I guess close it. It has been loading. Thanks for your help.
June 19, 2021 at 4:35 am #1306465Hi renita01,
We’re happy to hear that :)
If that fixed by itself then most likely the issue is caching.
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
