Whan I activate Enfold theme, a fatal error occurs and the site and administrator panel are no longer reachable.
Some research shows that php.ini values should be altered.
But the host (One.com) will not alter the php.ini file and according to them it is the creator of the theme that should provide an answer.
Can I change the necessary values through the .htaccess file?November 22, 2021 at 11:40 am #1329918Hey Rman9968,
Where can we see and reproduce the actual problem you are having? We have a test site which is working without any problems, hosted on one.com: wpexpert.se/enfold/

I’m having a wp multisite, so it’s a network environment. A little bit different then a standalone site.
I will now reinstall the wp network environment and then upload the Enfold theme.
I will not activate the Enfold theme, so you can try it out yourself.November 22, 2021 at 2:33 pm #1329973Hi,
Thanks for that, I can see the problem on my end as well. Are you sure that your hosting plan supports WordPress multisites? If you need further help from us, then please share server error logs.

From the moment I delete all ‘enfold’ entrances in the database – wp-options table, everything works again.
So don’t tell me the theme isn’t the problem.November 22, 2021 at 3:43 pm #1329990Hi,
Thanks for the update. Enfold is fully compatible with multisite setups, so it’s very likely that the problem is a local server setting. Could you share the error logs which I asked for?

RikardNovember 22, 2021 at 5:28 pm #1330005I turned on the php errors and this is what the page returns:
Fatal error: Uncaught ValueError: Unknown format specifier “S” in /customers/3/f/6/b-e-st.com/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/admin/option_tabs/avia_blog.php:311 Stack trace: #0 /customers/3/f/6/b-e-st.com/httpd.www/wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/admin/option_tabs/avia_blog.php(311): sprintf(‘Als u links naa…’, ‘I asked One.com for the server error logs. But they asked me to turn php errors on at first.
November 22, 2021 at 5:37 pm #1330009I deleted the %s in the code and it works now?
November 23, 2021 at 5:57 am #1330072Hi,
Thanks for the update. We’ve had other users report problems with that file in the current version, could you try replacing it with this please? https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_8_7_1/includes/avia_blog.php. We can do it for you if you share FTP login details with us.
Best regards,
